Mi Viejo El Dotor Se Volo a La Estrellas

A very special and deeply personal event - a one day only presentation of 'Mi viejo el dotor se voló a las estrellas', Irene Boleda's installation work about the process of accepting the absence/death of her father.

In collaboration with Guillaume Vallée
Musical performances Music by Matthew Wiviott on bass and Etienne Lebel on trombone.

The installation contains:
Double 35mm slide projection onto circle of wax paper strips
Paper boats bathroom installation with 16mm projection of eaten apple on lungs X-rays
Triple 16mm projection of animated and optically printed B&W photographs, flickering lungs xrays, buried 16mm film, S8mm film of family throwing the father's ashes onto the river, S8mm film of empty house and water colours onto glass.
